How is the weather in Singapore in March?

Singapore has a tropical climate, so be prepared for heat and humidity. The temperature is consistently warm, ranging from about 24-32°C (75-90°F), and with high humidity, typically 70-80%.

There is generally lower rainfall compared to the monsoon months, though brief afternoon thunderstorms can still occur.

Buildings often have air conditioning, and can feel much cooler than outside. It’s recommended to have a light sweater, jacket or scarf to layer while indoors.

How do I get around in Singapore?

“Grab” ride-hailing service: There is no Uber in Singapore, so most people use the Grab app. It's reliable, safe, and widely used. Download the app before you arrive and set up payment methods. The app also offers food delivery if you need it.

Public transportation (MRT/Bus): Singapore's Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system is clean, efficient, affordable, and covers most major areas. Get an EZ-Link card, use a machine at the station, or use a contactless credit card for easy tap-and-go payment. Google Maps works well for route planning.

Walking: Singapore is surprisingly walkable, especially in central areas like Marina Bay, Orchard Road, and Chinatown. However, the heat and humidity can be challenging, so plan shorter walks or use covered walkways where available. 

How should I dress for the EPIC Gathering?

• There is no formal dress code for EPIC, but we recommend smart or business casual.

• Due to the warm weather in Singapore, pack light and breathable fabrics like linen, cotton, or wicking materials. 

• To beat the heat, buildings often have strong air conditioning, and can feel much cooler than outside. It’s highly

   recommended to have a light sweater, jacket or scarf to layer while indoors. In other words, dress for the heat outside, but be

   prepared for chilly interiors.

• There will be some walking and movement between rooms, so wear comfortable shoes.
